We’re involved in a couple of children’s events around Eat for the Earth on 5th June. Why not try one too?

  1. We’re having a neighbourhood market where kids are bringing popcorn, pizza, soup, muffins, bunches of flowers, toys made from recycled goods etc. etc. (and glasses of wine on sale for the parents) They will set up in our garden and sell to the neighbourhood and proceeds will go to the Eat for the Earth campaign.
  2. The SACS Grade R classes (all four of them) will dress in green, collect litter on the school grounds, and discuss World Earth Day. Each boy will bring R5 to donate to the Eat for the Earth campaign.
  3. The Rustenburg Grade 2’s will be hosting an event to support World Environment Day (details to follow).

Do you have any other ideas?

Go wild … whatever you want to do … this is an opportunity to teach our children about taking responsibility for the future of the planet.
